What!? HO SNAP! THERE BE SECRETS AFOOT!

Anyway, choose-your-own adventure time! What would you all prefer of these two choices?
A) I update the comic whenever I finish a page, with no more than one page per day (current schedule)
B) I update the comic Monday, Wednsday, and Friday. Any week where I miss the Monday update will turn into a Tuesday and Thursday update week.

Keep in mind that neither choice will mean more updates than the other, nor does choice B mean I'll never miss any updates.

I like option B

Gasp! Secrets! And they be feet, that or 12 inches long. And if secrets are anything like the male wang, that is big!

Also, would seggest you to do what you feel like, however, option B sounds good only because some structure is good. Therefor I vote for the underdog, option A, just to make B sweat a little.

The problem with scheduled updates (that I find) is you can work up a backlog of episodes you really want to show, and then it can make drawing new ones seem a bit tedious as you know no one will see them for what could be weeks.

The problem with un-scheduled updates of course, is you can over-do it and burn yourself out into a hiatus.

So I vote for option C) Set a guaranteed update day (eg: friday) and always keep one comic (the most recent one) in reserve for that day. Then if you make another episode before that time (giving you 2 backlogged comics) you can publish the earlier one because you will still have one saved for friday.
That way you can update as much as you want, so long as you have a buffer of one comic, and readers will be safe in the knowledge that they are never more than 7 days away from a new episode.
That make sense?

Well, it might be a bit different in my case. I can only really make about 3 pages a week, and I'll probably end up making the pages the day before they're supposed to be uploaded either way.

I know what you're talking about, and trust me, I know what it's like. Even if I were to somehow make more than 3 pages a week and get myself a big backlog, I'll just make the update schedule more frequent for a little while.

Well, seeing as most of you agree that B is the better option, I guess Detective Tarson will be going into a MWF update schedule, at least for now. Unfortunately, this page is the what-would-have-been Monday update, so there won't be an update this Monday. If I get the next page done by Tuesday, it'll be a Tuesday-Thursday update. If I can't make it by then (I should be able to, but I might not) it'll be a Wednsday-Friday update.

Of course, these rules are subject to change, so just give me a couple of weeks to work with this schedule and I'll make something official.

Actually yeah, then if you're making 3 a week, B is probably a good option. :]

A is my opinion
